Responsibilities:

Join our team as a Maintenance Technician in a Manufacturing Facility! You will be Responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining production and facility.

You will fix equipment according to safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems and processes to the support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.

Essential (primary) functions include, but are not limited to:

Install and maintain production machines and plant facility’s equipment.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
Will be working on machines and have a background in electrical engineering
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance.
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Use a variety of hand/power tools, electric meters, cranes, forklifts and material handling equipment in performing duties.
Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Required education/work experience:

Requires a high school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.
4+ years of manufacturing experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with some PLC experience and HVAC.
MUST have valid driver license. Will be driving a company vehicle occasionally and making runs going to Walmart/ Home Depot for supplies
Must be highly able to work independently.

PHYSICAL ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Must be able to walk, stand, sit, and apply all motor functions in order to perform the job. May be required to lift up to 75 pounds, operate overhead cranes and forklift and be willing to work at heights of at least 25 feet.
