Responsibilities:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to all traffic regulations.

Duties

Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring timely delivery of goods to designated locations.
Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
Use proper equipment to load/unload truck such as Forklift, mechanical lift gates, hand tools, manual material handling equipment, ladders, and rubber retention straps.
Review shipping documents to ensure order accuracy (Use proper grammar and writing and math)
Inspect the truck to determine safe operating condition prior to departure, report any issues with vehicle to supervisor
Taking payments from customers and processing them properly
Any other duties assigned by immediate supervisor and other management
Experience/Requirements:

Be able to drive a vehicle over 10,001 lbs
You must obtain a valid DOT Card
Previous experience as a Delivery Driver is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with route driving and commercial driving practices is a plus
Willing to learn to operate warehouse material handling equipment
Willing to learn to operate the computer related systems used in the delivery process
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Ability to handle physical tasks, including moving and lifting items as required.
A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.
