Responsibilities:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Painter/Sandblaster to join our manufacturing team. This role involves preparing surfaces through sandblasting and applying protective or decorative coatings using various painting techniques. The ideal candidate will have experience with industrial painting, materials handling, and fabrication processes, contributing to the production of high-quality finished products. Candidates should possess mechanical knowledge and be comfortable working with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments. Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting through sandblasting, ensuring proper cleaning and surface profile.
Operate and maintain electrostatic spray systems, pressurized pot and cup spray equipment, and related tools
Operate and maintain equipment such as cranes, forklifts, and other materials handling tools safely and efficiently.
Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication tools to assist in assembly or repair tasks as needed.
Conduct inspections with precision measuring instruments to ensure quality standards are met.
Follow safety protocols related to industrial painting, materials handling, and equipment operation.
Assist in the setup of workstations for painting and sandblasting processes, maintaining cleanliness and organization.
Support other manufacturing activities including machining, auto body repair, or construction painting when required.
Experience

Prior experience in industrial painting or sandblasting is highly preferred.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, machining, fabrication, and assembly is advantageous.
Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and airless paint spraying techniques.
Experience operating forklifts, cranes, or other heavy machinery is a plus.
Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and warehouse operations is beneficial.
Ability to work with basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to materials handling and fabrication tasks.
Previous work in auto body repair or auto painting environments is a plus but not required. This position requires a commitment to safety standards and quality workmanship while supporting a collaborative team environment focused on continuous improvement.
