Responsibilities:

We are hiring for Welder/Fitter's in Lakeland, FL.

In this position you must have the ability to tack and weld as needed in the shop. Must have passed AWS D14.6 and AWS D1.1 welding qualification tests.

Skills:

Read and understand fabrication drawings, blue prints, welding procedures and shop travelers. Ability to read weld symbols. Fluent in English, working with written and verbal communication.

Equipment Used:

All welding and cutting equipment. All cranes and fabrication equipment including hand tools. Computer for job log in and job information.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Must be able to fabricate metal
Review drawings/blueprints for specific requirements
Knowledge with overhead crane and hand tools
Tack assembly together per specifications
Insure work meets quality standards
Consistently look for ways to eliminate waste and improve processes
Practice safety in all aspects of job
Look for safety issues with equipment and processes
You need to 3-5 Years of experience
