Responsibilities:

We are seeking experienced Industrial Stainless Steel Grinder/Polishers.

Pay is based off experience

2nd Shift 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm. You may be required to train on 1st Shift

Must be comfortable handling a grinder and/or other handheld tools for up to 8 hours.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Grind, deburr, and polish metals and plastics using hand, air, electric and pneumatic powered tools to achieve finish specified by work orders, blueprints or drawings.
Follow processes as defined in procedures manual.
Able to determine finish requirements from work orders and drawings.
Perform physical inventory as directed.
Keep work area neat, clean, and well organized to promote safety and efficiency.
Able to multitask in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
Observe all safety rules including wearing PPE as required.
Clean and perform preventative maintenance on tools and general shop equipment.
Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to stand for entire shift.
Technical Requirements

Able to identify different materials, finishes and grades.
Able to polish to a #8 or better finish.
Able to identify visible defects.
Able to follow directions and work well without direct supervision.
Able to operate material handling equipment safely.
