Responsibilities:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Steel Carpenter to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in steel framing, Building exterior/interior wall systems, fabrication, and installation, with a strong understanding of blueprint reading and construction safety standards.

Duties

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute steel framing and fabrication tasks
Measure, cut and assemble steel components using hand tools, power tools
Install rebar, metal studs, siding, roofing, and other structural elements on construction sites
Build interior and exterior metal-framed walls, bulkheads, ceilings, and partitions
Install insulation, sheathing, blocking, and backing as required
Fabricate custom steel parts for fixtures or structural elements according to project requirements
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes; maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements

Proven experience in construction estimating, framing carpentry (including woodworking), metal stud framing, roofing, masonry, or related fields
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools and fabrication equipment
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
Strong knowledge of construction site safety protocols
Experience with rebar installation, concrete forming, plastering, caulking, stucco application, siding installation, fixture installation, restoration industry practices including mold remediation and water damage restoration
Capable of heavy lifting and performing physically demanding tasks throughout the workday
Knowledge of electrical experience or plumbing is a plus but not required
Construction site environment (indoor and outdoor work)
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail; ability to work independently or as part of a team
Must be able to work in varying weather conditions and heights
Prior experience in the restoration industry or remodeling projects is advantageous
