Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in saw operating, with the ability to read blueprints and a tape measure. This role involves working with various materials, saws and tools to create high-quality products while adhering to safety standards. The Fabricator will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring that all components meet specifications and quality standards.

Hours are: 8:00am-4:30pm

Pay : $20.00-$21.00/hr depending on experience

Although half of this job is going to be in the shop operating saws and completing customer orders, the other half you will be inside the office responding to emails and ordering products for customers.

Responsibilities

Interpret blueprints to fabricate components accurately.
Operate saws, grinders and sanders to ensuring high-quality standards on the materials.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as saws for fabrication tasks.
Conduct quality checks using measuring tapes to ensure precision.
Complete projects efficiently while maintaining safety protocols.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety regulations at all times.
Experience

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Proficiency in using saws for cutting is essential.
Proficiency on the computer is essential
Familiarity with mechanical knowledge and basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
Experience with assembly processes, machining, grinders, sanders, air tools and the use of various fabrication tools is highly desirable.
Knowing how to properly respond to customer emails with great customer service and problem solving skills
Previous experience with ordering products online and keeping correct stock of materials
