Responsibilities:

We are looking for a 2nd Shift CNC Machinist to join our team in Lakeland, FL.

Training will be on 1st Shift from 6:00 am - 4:30 pm and then you will move to 2nd Shift working 3:30 pm - 12:00 am Monday - Thursday and Friday 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm

Responsibilities:

Reviewing project assignments/instructions from Team Leader
Review drawings and machining requirements for the job
Obtain understanding of task and develop action plan
Setting up machines and other required equipment
Supervise the machines and make any required adjustments
Ensure work meets quality standards
Assist Machinist
Look for ways to eliminate waste and improve processes
Look for safety issues with equipment and processes
Requirements:

Experience with CNC Lathes or horizontal / vertical mills
Ability to read and interpret design blueprints.
Extensive experience with computer modeling software.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and stick to a deadline.
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift heavy objects.
Ability to work after-hours when required.
