Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Manufacturing Scheduler to join our dynamic production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed production schedules that align with demand forecasts, inventory levels, and capacity constraints. This role plays a vital part in ensuring seamless manufacturing operations, optimizing resource utilization, and meeting delivery commitments. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical proficiency in supply chain management systems, purchasing, production planning tools, and data analysis, contributing to the continuous improvement of our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain master production schedules (MPS) to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders while balancing inventory levels and production capacity.
Advanced knowledge of the entire process flow from raw material through production to customer delivery
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including procurement, logistics, purchasing, manufacturing, and sales to align production plans with demand forecasts and supply chain requirements.
Utilize enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as Sage to input, monitor, and adjust production schedules based on real-time data.
Analyze spreadsheets and manufacturing data to identify bottlenecks, forecast demand fluctuations, and optimize inventory control.
Manage logistics inventory management processes to ensure accurate tracking of raw materials, work-in-progress items, and finished goods.
Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline scheduling processes, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency.
Collaborate with demand planning teams to interpret forecast data and adjust schedules accordingly.
Monitor production management systems to ensure adherence to schedules and resolve any discrepancies or delays promptly.
Generate reports on production status, inventory levels, and scheduling performance for management review.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing Excel data for trends and opportunities in manufacturing workflows.
Qualifications

Proven experience in supply chain management, production scheduling, or manufacturing planning roles.
Proficiency in ERP systems such as Sage or equivalent production management software.
Strong understanding of MRP (Material Requirements Planning), demand forecasting analysis, and inventory management systems.
Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications including Excel for data analysis and spreadsheet management.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and logistics inventory management best practices.
Ability to communicate effectively across departments to facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
Technical proficiency in demand planning tools, spreadsheets, and production management systems.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing complex schedules.
Familiarity with manufacturing processes, inventory control procedures, and supply chain dynamics.
