Responsibilities:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating laser cutting machines to produce high-quality components while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

2nd shift: 4/5pm to finish

Responsibilities

Assures materials exiting burning machines meet drawing requirements and quality standards
Assures proper operation of equipment by monitoring quality of parts produced and conducting 1st Article procedures
Gathers materials required to fill work orders, sets up burning tables with materials
Operate and monitor laser cutting machines, ensuring optimal performance and quality output.
Perform routine maintenance on laser equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
Experience

Must have experience in use of measuring equipment ie; tape measures, calipers, micrometers, etc
Previous experience operating laser cutting machines is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with CNC machinery, welding techniques, and mechanical knowledge is advantageous.
Ability to program CNC equipment for specific production tasks is highly desirable.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work consistently.
Forklift certification is a nice-to-have but not required for this position.
