Responsibilities:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our expanding team. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging prospective clients, promoting our company, and closing sales through direct, face-to-face interactions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead growth initiatives within the metal manufacturing, by leveraging your sales expertise and technical knowledge. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to thrive in a competitive environment.

Sales Territory is located in Ocala, Jacksonville and Gainsville. The corporate office is located in Tampa.

Duties

Conduct door-to-door sales presentations to educate potential customers on metal manufacturing
Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of leads through proactive outreach and community engagement
Utilize laptop computer to track interactions, manage customer data, and follow up on sales opportunities
Negotiate terms with clients, address questions or concerns, and close deals efficiently while ensuring customer satisfaction
Collaborate with marketing teams to implement targeted campaigns and promotional strategies in various regions
Provide technical sales consultations tailored to individual customer needs
Maintain comprehensive records of sales activities, customer interactions, and follow-up actions
Stay informed about industry trends, product innovations, and competitors’ offerings to enhance sales strategies
Lead by example in demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and leadership within the sales team
Handle and respond to customer complaints regarding billing, pricing, service, quality and charges for services. Work in conjunction with production, credit, administration and transportation to resolve situations in a timely and efficient manner.
Qualifications:

Proven experience in outside sales, preferably within the metal industry
Strong knowledge of sales techniques including negotiation, deal closing, and customer service excellence
3 years experience with sales
Bachelors Degree Preffered not required
Demonstrated success in door-to-door sales or direct field marketing campaigns
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and drive results
Willing to travel for overnight stays and after hours meetings
Proficiency in Microsoft office
