Responsibilities:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Paint Finisher to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to a variety of products, ensuring durability, aesthetic appeal, and compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand and power tools, and experience in industrial and construction painting environments. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to precision finishing processes that support our commitment to excellence across manufacturing operations.

Hours: 2nd shift 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM, (may train on 1st shift 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM)

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality.
Apply coatings using airless paint spraying equipment or other hand tools with precision.
Use precision measuring instruments and basic math skills to verify dimensions and ensure accurate application.
Handle materials carefully during fabrication, assembly, and materials handling tasks to prevent damage.
Follow safety protocols related to industrial painting and the use of power tools.
Collaborate with team members in lean manufacturing environments to optimize workflow efficiency.
Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure proper storage of materials and tools in warehouse settings.
Assist with fabrication or assembly tasks when required to support production schedules.
Skills

Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying equipment.
Experience with industrial painting techniques including construction painting and auto painting is a plus.
Ability to use precision measuring instruments accurately for quality control.
Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality assessments.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to promote efficiency in production workflows.
