Responsibilities:

This job may require travel to various worksites. We are currently looking for the Haines City, Plant City, Lakeland and Kissimmee locations (Surround areas). Must be willing to travel 100 miles outside of the plant city area for work.

We are looking for an experienced Pipelayer to join our team. Pipelayers must have experience working with large diameter MJ ductile iron pipe, flanged piping, C900, RCP, etc....

Duties:

* Comply with job assignments and specific instructions from the Superintendent and/or Foreman.

* Maintain high safety standards by setting a personal example.

* Prepare or work from blueprints, specifications, sketches and piping and instrumentation diagrams

* Layout, fabricate, assemble and install (route) and align pipe and piping systems (such as ductile iron, PVC, steel, copper and black iron), machinery and equipment (such as pumps, collection mechanisms, generators, tanks, motors, shafting, conveyors and rail systems).

*Dismantle and move pipe and piping systems, machinery and equipment.

*Mix, dig, pour, spread and level dirt, asphalt gravel, concrete and other construction materials using hand tools, such as a pick and shovel.

*Lift, carry and hold building materials, tools and supplies.

*Set, remove, sort and clean concrete form systems.

*Any other duties assigned

Requirements

Must be ok with working outside in the heat

Understand basic knowledge of piping systems, materials and methods.

Must be able to read Blueprints

Previous Pipelayer Experience Required

Must be able to read a Tape Measure

Ability to efficiently and effectively manage time and equipment.

Operate and utilize the following equipment and machinery as part of the pipefitting and equipment setting process: hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, power tools, hammers, wrenches, crowbars, dollies, rollers, hand trucks, jacks, squares, rules, micrometers and plumb bobs

Clean tools, equipment and work areas

Must be willing to help in all Areas as Needed
